Late 17th Century Sculpture of a Buddhist Symbol
A wonderful substantial piece of late 17th Century Chinese pottery in the form of a Buddhist symbol. This would likely have been part of a larger screen or sculpture at some point in its history. It has fabulous vibrant colours.
There is a break with a piece missing in one corner, fortunately this can be placed at the back so that it is barely noticeable.
We love this as a piece of sculptural art in its own right, however it could easily be made into a lovely large lamp or console/coffee table with a piece of glass.
61cm high, 58cm wide and 20cm deep.
