A very large 24″ industrial wall clock typically found in public spaces made in England by Gents of Leicester. c.1940
Very likely used in a factory environment due to its size, this iconic Gents clock has been left in the original black paint. Original hands now running on a high torque Quartz movement for modern convenience.
Gents’ of Leicester, was established in Leicester, England, in 1872 by John Thomas Gent. For over a century, the company was a well known manufacturer of electrical equipment, in particular its electric clocks, which were used in public buildings and railway stations all over the world.
