A Very Young Gun Christmas Party

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the AYG Christmas Drinks at the famous Churchill Arms on Kensingon Church Street. Shrouded in 90 sparkling Christmas trees on the outside and crammed with tons of Churchill related memorabilia on the inside, the venue was certainly a fitting venue. A special shout out needs to go to Nikki Whittaker and Sara Morel for helping organise this fabulous event and it is safe to say you are both definitely on Santa’s ‘nice’ list this year!

Although the pub was packed to the gunnels with winter revellers, our cohort of over two dozen members and friends braved the chaos and found a spot under a Christmas tree to chat and share stories. It was a fabulous evening and we were so pleased to meet for the first time a whole host of amazing young people in the industry, many with strong reputations trading on Instagram and Etsy. We really hope to see you all again soon!

By the end of the evening half a dozen members donned their finest Christmas sweaters to compete for the coveted bottle of Champagne getting looks of both horror and admiration from the confused general public sitting around. In the end it was our own Ismael Kahn who walked away proudly with the prize for worst jumper wearing an unforgettable hoodie of ‘Cats in Christmas hats’…….even therapy will not erase that design from our memory!

……..so that is 2016 wrapped up from us at AYG. Wishing everyone a restful Christmas period as 2017 is surely going to be a successful and event packed year for all.
